In the 1990s, as the federal government moved to prevent legal access to the neurotransmitter and narcolepsy treatment GHB, GABA-B receptor liberationists fought back with this 1998 GBL advertisement that was placed in High Times Magazine. Now just a memory, this advertisement harks back to an era of simple lactonic pleasures, free from persecution.
